This 6319-5000 (1979) Seiko shares all the same characteristics of the 6119-5400. The main difference is the movement and the 6139’s crown does not sit flush with the case. Spurred on by the success of restoring the 6119 when this came up for sale I jumped on it and planned to sell on. I never got round to listing and now they sit next to each other in the watch box like twins. Pretty cool and very retro style.
You can see in the photos the worn condition this was in however someone had loved it as the caseback was full of service marks.
Same procedure as the the 6119-5400 to strip off all the old plating, then work with the brass case to give the ground surface and polished ends.
They do come up quite nicely if you spend enough time on them.
