What a great model this one is. Nicknamed the UFO on the account of its case shape and size this is a highly desirable Seiko chronograph from the 70s. It wonderful black dial with red accents attracts the eye. The 6138 is a 24 hour chronograph and an update from the 6139 30 minute chronographs.
Movements are pretty much the same other than these have the second register to record the hours. on this model located at 12 and 6.
This example is all original from what I can tell and currently running well although I will have to give it a service just to be sure.
