This is my second Seiko Pogue, a lovely chronograph from the late 60s-to 70s and one of the worlds first automatic chronograph watches. This one was given to me by a good friend and fellow Brit “George” who now resides over in Holland. It was broken and he has lost the ability to repair it due to some health conditions so gifted this to me. An extremely generous thing to do but I will look after it and it won’t leave my collection that is for sure.
I don’t have photos of the repair on this one but for those wanting to know I did a video all about it!

Something’s BROKEN In This Watch, Can I Fix It #watchrepair

Needless to say it was repaired and I can now enjoy the watch for decades to come. This one has had some considerable polishing at some point and rounded off the corners a little. There is nothing I can do about this but I did reapply the circular brushing to the top of the case to make it look much better and true to the original.

Bracelet and clasp are aftermarket from AliExpress.
