Here is a lovely watch my San Martin sporting a bronze case, a really nice soft but thick leather strap and a stunning dial. This watch is very much vintage inspired.

Bronze seems to be a phase microbrands are going through right now. I personally like it as a case material as I enjoy the way it changes colour as its exposed to the elements. For some loosing that nice bronze colour might be a bit of a put off but for others its a thing of beauty.
The more you wear these the more they will change. Of course you can clean it back to bright with things like lemon juice etc if you prefer.

This offering from San Martin watch company is a nice small sized watch with a wonderful textured dial, cathedral hands and a military vibe to its style of font and train track minute scale. Simplistic but beautiful at the same time.
The usual with San Martin, screw down crown and caseback give it 100m of water resistance. case is solid bronze with the caseback being stainless steel as not to give people bad skin reactions to bronze material.
To my knowledge this is their own design all be it heavily influenced by vintage military watches.
Dimensions are modern but still keeping the diameter down for that vintage vibe. A watch like this from the 1930s would be 32mm at best, this one comes in at 37mm. Its 10mm thick and lug width is 20mm giving you the versatility for strap changes.
I reviewed this watch along with 5 other watches from Sam Martin so if you would like to see more of this watch please watch the video below.
This has been a popular watch and sold over 50 pieces which I am not surprised to be fair. This is the one I kept out of the 6 as its impressed me that much.
