Yes another Phoibos but they keep on sending them to me and I still keep enjoying them!
This one, the Proteus is a clear favourite though. Its big and bold and very well put together. Actually an older model but they have recently added a few new colours, this green version is one of them.
There is so much I like about this watch. The textured dial is nice. the indices are like spear tips, beautifully finished and with their signature 15 layers of lume. The white minute track gives it contrast and a bit of depth by adding a layer.
I am not so struck on the date window and think this watch might have been better without a date yet people do like a date window as a complication to their watches and as this piece uses as Seiko NH35 movement which has a date function then its best to display it rather than hide it under the dial and have ghost position on the crown.
I reviewed this one on my channel (link below) some people seemed to think it was a copy of a Rolex but I just do not see it! okay its green but then Rolex are not the first to use green on watches so I think to make this statement is a bit farcical.
I have worn this watch allot and am actually wearing it now as I am typing this blog. For me its up there as my favourite Phoibos next to the Kraken which is a crazy piece that I love.

I would recommend this watch to anyone who is looking for a new watch on a budget that wants a good watch for their money. This one is also available with a carbon dial which looks stunning and possibly the pick of the colours. Take a look here if you are interested.
