I came home from work one evening in February 2021 to find a rather large box had been delivered to my door from the postman. I was not expecting anything and this was a big box…
So I opened it.

Inside was a rather large Watchfinder watch box. I was now intrigued and slightly excited. I opened the box to find a stunning Roamer Searock inside!

This is a true survivor watch from the 70s and all in original condition. I found a note in the box from a very good friend of mine. Mr Simon Coope. Simon is someone I connected with a few years back in the Facebook group and in doing so we became good friends and he is now one of my admins for the group.
Simon is a seasoned professional watchmaker and a bit of a Rolex expert. He has been an inspiration and a mentor to me on my journey and has helped countless 1000s in the group with his knowledge that he freely gives out. A true gentleman. You don’t meet many guys like this, certainly from his professional standpoint but I am glad he is around for the benefit of all in this wonderful hobby.
Simon had decided to gift me this watch to say thanks for all I do! amazing.
For this of course I will treasure it and will sit pride of place amongst my collection.
I think these photos will speak for themselves. This watch is a true 1970s survivor, completely unmarked and of course running absolutely spot on.
