These watches came in for review, one is a mechanical and one is a quartz. It is my first time handling a Baltany watch and I will start off by saying for the price these watches are incredible.
These watches are a tribute to the original Oyster watches by Rolex back in the 1920s. I believe they were Rolex first waterproof watches. I really can appreciate homage like this as the watches they are copying are long out of production and remaining versions will all be in collections, expensive and will require maintenance to keep going.
The bronze coloured one is actually called a salmon dial, this version has a quartz movement. It looks really nice all the same with the subdial and a nice high polished stainless steel case with that gorgeous coin edge bezel.
The other version is my favorite, its a black dial with a mix of gold (coloured plating) and stainless steel case. I just love the cathedral hands and the way the font is double printed to give it a 3d effect. Also being mechanical you get a nice sweep tick on the subdial.
