Here is another San Martin that I have reviewed for the channel. San Martin do offer some incredible quality for little money as long as you don’t mind the country of origin which I personally don’t as I do business there for my day job. (China)
This is a lovely piece despite I do not like the dial colour they sent me to review. I just don’t think Tiffany blue suits this watch. The do offer a black, green and black/ gilt dial all of which make nicer models in my opinion.
This is a well constructed watch with a delightful 36mm case and thin profile of 11.3mm. Okay the design is borrowed from Rolex and Tudor but I have no problem with that.
It is powered by the PT5000 movement which seems very accurate and reliable so far. Its based on the ETA 2824 movement, 28,800 BPH, hand wind and hacking. Offers a brilliant trace on the timegrapher out of the box.
This does seem to share the exact same case as the Ironwatch I reviewed months beforehand so clearly both companies are outsourcing to the same machine shop for cases.
What I am seeing the most with San Martin is the level of finish to the cases and bracelets. They seem to have this process down extremely well and outclasses all other watches in this price bracket and beyond.

Here are some shots of my watch. If you would like to pick one up then here is a link to their shop on AliExpress. https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_9xTSAl
