This is my stunning example of a Seiko 6139-7100 white dial aka “Stormtrooper”
I took this as payment for work I did on a guy called Ken’s watches. One of which was the “tank” watch on my YouTube channel. I restored two watches for Ken one that required a lot of parts and labour. We did a straight swap for this one. This needed work, one owner from new and only serviced once in 45 years.
I would need a service and some light polishing on the bezel, plus a new crystal.
I took it all apart and gave it a really good clean before assembling and oiling.
Once all back together an crystal on I am delighted with a superb looking watch. These are really big chunky things to wear but a great 70s watch.
I now have both versions in my collection.
